Overview
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Muqtarah, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights over it.
Data we collect
Account data: name, email, phone number, and business name. Brand data: your logo, colors, fonts, and sender details. Work content: the documents, line items, and client details you enter yourself. Payment data: cards are processed entirely by the payment gateway (Moyasar) and we never store your card number; we keep only the transaction reference and the last 4 digits to display back to you. Usage data: general analytics events used to improve the product.
How we use your data
We use the data to provide and operate the service: generating documents, serving the client portal, sending account and subscription emails, improving the product, and supporting you when needed. We never sell your data to any third party.
AI processing
When you use AI generation, your project description and the required document data are sent to the model provider (such as Anthropic) to process and return the document. Under these providers’ API usage policies, your data is not used to train their models.
Service providers
We rely on trusted providers to run the platform: Supabase (database, storage, authentication), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI), Resend (email), Moyasar (payments), and PostHog (analytics). Each provider processes only the data needed for its function.
Your clients’ data
You are the controller of the client details you enter into the platform (names and contact information); we process them on your behalf solely to create and share documents. Make sure you have the right to enter this data.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from Settings, after which your data and documents are removed from our systems within a reasonable period, except what we must keep by law (such as billing records).
Security
Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS and stored with providers that apply high security standards, with row-level access controls in the database ensuring every user can only reach their own data.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for sign-in and session management, and analytics cookies to understand and improve how the platform is used. We do not use cookies for advertising.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your data. Most of this is available directly inside your account; for anything else, email us at the address below.

We may update this policy from time to time and will publish the updated version on this page with its date.
